As previously stated, the Connected Ambulance Project was built on three pillars for the patient, the caregivers and the institutions. It is built to continuously provide the most advanced treatment, tailored to the patients needs. The modular design facilitates this in terms of hardware and acts as a future proof interior. Furthermore, connectivity enables the possibility to consult the best specialists around the world, to further adapt treatment protocols.

This without the need to be physically present, yet with the benefits of their knowledge. The importance of these experts and other caregivers, is vastly recognized in the project. That is why the ambulance is built with the necessary comfort for the specialized transport teams. This in combination with different safety features facilitates the team to perform at their highest level possible.

Finally, the Connected Ambulance project streamlines the patient transport process by involving all relevant institutions and shifting logistical tasks from doctors to the transport team. This enables medical professionals to focus on their areas of expertise while the transport team manages logistics. Additionally, the project offers real-time access to critical patient data, including their location and vital signs, at any time and from anywhere. This enhances resource management and ensures more efficient care.

Tripling care through innovation

The project has introduced innovations in several key areas, creating added value by bringing together the individual benefits from each of these fields. By combining advancements in technology, patient care, and logistical efficiency, the project has enhanced overall outcomes and streamlined processes, offering improved results across the board.

Innovation 1: A 5G connected Ambulance

Our ambulances are equipped with advanced 5G technology that enables teleconsultation with the receiving hospital, allowing treatment to begin during transport and leading to faster diagnoses and better quality of care.

Innovation 2: A specialized transport team

Our team consists of specialized professionals who ensure that each patient receives the best possible care during transport. We guarantee a safe and continuous care environment, tailored to the needs of the patient

Innovation 3: A modular and flexible design

Our ambulances can be easily adapted to different care needs, allowing us to provide personalized care, regardless of the complexity of the situation.

“As we continue to strive for excellence in care, particularly in complex situations like transporting critical care patients, this project has truly gone above and beyond in driving innovation. Over the past two years, we’ve seen the positive impact on patients and their families, as well as on the dedicated caregivers and experts we work alongside. The advancements made have not only enhanced patient outcomes, but have also strengthened our institution’s commitment to excellence. This project marks a significant step forward in our ongoing journey to provide the highest quality of care”
